MEET
Christos Kanoulas

Christos Kanoulas was born in Athens in 1987. From a young age, he had a passion for cooking and creating culinary experiences, which led him to study at the renowned Le Monde school, where he specialized in cooking, pastry making and oenology.

After his studies, he began his career at the Hotel Great Britain in Athens, gaining valuable experience in one of the world's leading hotels. He then found himself in internationally renowned restaurants such as Sketch, which has three Michelin stars, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Mandarine Oriental, which has two Michelin stars, as well as at the private Arts Club.

Returning to Greece, he took on the role of Chef de Cuisine at the Macedonia Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki, as well as at Salonica Restaurant. Later, he won his first Golden Hat, at Grandma's Restaurant on the island of Ios.

In 2024, he won his second Golden Hat and 2 FNL stars, at the Galazia Hytra restaurant in Paros.

Christina Chourpouliadou

She was born and raised in Thessaloniki in 1992.

15 years ago, she fell in love with the hospitality industry and has remained active in it ever since. The bartending scene deeply inspired her, leading her to begin her journey in this field.

She studied at the Bar Institute of Thessaloniki and obtained the Advanced Diploma in Spirits, while participating in international competitions. Her love for spirits evolved into a special passion for wine.

She continued her studies at WSET in London, where she achieved WSET Level 3 in wine.

She now holds a Restaurant Management certificate from the Kapodistrian University of Athens and plays an active role in restaurant management. She is involved in staff training, creating wine and cocktail lists, as well as the operational side of catering businesses.

For the last 3 years she has been Restaurant Manager at Galazia Hytra, in Paros and Sommelier at Spondi with 1 Michelin star.

Among the most beautiful and defining moments of her career are her 8-year tenure as manager at Boheme Thessaloniki, her 2 years at Scorpios Mykonos, as well as her experience as Restaurant Manager and Wine List Consultant at Wine Bar By the Glass.
